Our congregation is made up of people from all walks of life and backgrounds. During the fellowship time after worship, you may visit with someone who is or was an active contractor, clerk, teacher, engineer, secretary, doctor, social worker, home maker, professor, administrator, cook, business owner, roofer, grief counselor, air force pilot, helicopter pilot, nurse, store manager, member of the military, artist, salesperson, photographer, lawyer, school counselor, pizza delivery person, or psychologist. It makes for interesting conversations.
Our style is reverent and joyful. We follow a Reformed order of worship that involves members of the congregation in many parts of the service. After all, as Presbyterians, we see worship as the service of the people. Our worship service includes prayers, hymns, responsive readings, musical offerings, scripture reading, a sermon, a collection of offerings, an affirmation of faith, and always concludes with a prayer and a blessing.
