What should I expect on my first visit? From the front doors, you will enter into the Great Hall, which leads straight ahead into the sanctuary. Our ushers will greet you and invite you to sit anywhere you choose. We hope that after worship, you will stay for something to drink and eat from our fellowship table. After a time of fellowship, we offer three adult classes and hope you will participate in one of them. The Christian Perspectives class focuses on all types of subjects and discusses them over several weeks. Our Topics Class covers a different biblical, theological, or presbyterian topic each week. Our “I Wonder” Class provides an opportunity to visit about where the Spirit took participants’ thoughts when the texts were read in worship and the sermon was preached. Classes conclude at 12:00 p.m. (unless participants keep going).
-
What time should I arrive? Our worship service begins at 10:00 a.m. You can arrive as late as 9:55 and be able to walk from the back of the parking lot straight into the sanctuary before the prelude starts the service.
-
What should I wear when I visit? There is no dress code. Wear what you like. We do.
-
Is the church handicap accessible?Yes. Besides that, our bulletins are printed in a font large enough that most people don’t even need their reading glasses.
-
Are small children welcome in the service?Yes. We like children to worship with us and, therefore, provide a worship bag for all children. For those who are unable to sit still, we have a space at the back of the sanctuary where they may engage in drawing or playing with quiet toys and games under their parents’ supervision.
-
Is childcare available?A nursery is available for children four years old and younger.
