Music is a vital part of worship at New Hope.
Our Sanctuary Choir rehearses on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. and leads the congregation in singing at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays.
Choral music at New Hope runs the full spectrum from classical to contemporary, but is always tied to the message of the day.
Not only does the choir present an anthem each Sunday during worship, but it provides special music during Holy Week, Advent, and Christmas. The choir presents an annual cantata during the Christmas season and frequently adds guest artists.
New Hope provides scholarship opportunities for students from local institutions of higher education to augment the choir and to allow them to learn about church music.
New Hope hosts an annual composer’s workshop that is open to church choirs in Wichita Falls, as a way to celebrate church music and to build fellowship with our sister congregations.
New Hope has a full set of handbells as well as a self-contained organ.
