Generosity: Blessing Christ’s church, our community, and God’s world.

Thank you for your generosity!

Jesus said that the most important things in life were to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind; and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. We endeavor to do this by participating in the work of our church be that in our worship or service.

In a story Jesus told, a Samaritan came across a man lying in the street badly wounded. Without hesitation, he bandaged the stranger’s wounds, took him to an inn, and paid the innkeeper to take care of the man, promising to return.

We like to compare our church to the inn—the place where those who are wounded, no matter their wounds, are tended and loved. The place where they can find protection, nourishment, and healing.

We need people to come alongside us in our “inn-keeping” work and funds to sustain it.

Will you join us in extending God’s love to all of our neighbors?

Serving others through inspirational worship

Worship is the center of our life together at New Hope. Our pastor, music ministry, and worship committee all work to provide worship services that glorify God, inspire and nurture us, and leave us ready to serve Christ in the world.

Serving others with stimulating education

Our faith becomes a reality when the stories of the Bible and our personal experiences of God’s love and grace inspire us to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and our neighbors as ourselves. Through preaching, Christian education classes, and our retreats, we are learning and growing together in our faith.

Serving others through fellowship and care

When we are sick, lonely, frightened, or grieving,

we are surrounded by a community of love. As we bear each other’s burdens, we strengthen one another through Deacons' ministry, pastoral support, hospital visits, and at-home communion.

Serving Our Community

Serving others through loving actions

New Hope offers many opportunities to show our love for our neighbors through programs such as Mobile Food Ministries, Power Packs weekend food program, meal service at Faith Mission, support of Presbyterian Children’s Home and Services, alliance with Haynes Northwest Academy, and our annual Trunk or Treat event.
