The senior adult ministry at New Hope is full of energy and busy with many activities.  Special events, trips, meals, special services and other activities have brought people together in wonderful fellowship, fun, and laughter.  They also enjoy informative Bible Studies helping them grow in the Christian faith and strengthening their relationship with God.

 Adults Sunday School

Sunday School classes are offered for adults at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday focusing on Bible study through the David C. Cook curriculum.  These lessons study the Bible truths and help apply these truths to our lives.

 Hearts of Hope

Hearts of Hope is a social group for the senior adults at New Hope. One group outing is planned for each month. We meet at the church and travel as a group on each outing. We have traveled to many interesting and fun places over the past few years. We have been everywhere from Mount Airy to Myrtle Beach. We recently went to Raleigh to see the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit. Last year we visited a cotton field and gin. Each month is something new. Next we will be going to JCC for a Old Time Rock N Roll show and then in April we will be going to a play by the Garner Towne Players.  Special events are planned throughout the year, including outreach activities.
